Carved? No-one carved anything, we turtles have no need for carving. I fought my way through the egg shell and this is how I appeared. Each of us has a different design. I am one of the special types and even have some colour in my carved shell. Note the edge to the shell, a good contrast in design. If I knew my mum or dad I am sure they would be proud of me, but they were already gone and just left my egg and I hatched it all on my own.
