It has a few different names, one being a cone flower, but if you stick to the latin one you are always right. When my garden was renewed I lost my echinacea but my gardener planted one for me in my raised bed. It is the first time it has flowered and I watched it developing. there are still 4-5 buds forming on the plant, so what could be better. It is also a favourite of the insects.

I love echinacea and have some blooming right now also. I’ve seen white crab spiders on them more than once.

I am a very big fan of this flower and have used echinacea as a remedy for decades. Its an amazing plant 🙂
