During the Covid pandemic there were doormats everywhere, but not exactly the welcoming doormats we like to see. Ths was the C & A store in town.
And this was in the supermarket telling everone to following the traffic light system, green and red for go and stop. Now a thing of the past I hope.
RDP Saturday: Doormat
You were lucky to have traffic lights we all kept going the wrong way, because we forgot things and had to go back to get them. We had arrows and green xs. At first the elderly and disabled were only permitted to shop between 0700 and 0800 hrs. The very first day the mall was open but the supermarket was closed. So we had to queue.

The traffic lights were only at the entrance, otherwise you were free to move. We had no queues and just had to keep enough space. Most people began to order online.

O I had visions of an inside highway. Not many here ordered on line, shopping was one of the activities allowed throughout Lockdown.

I hadn’t even thought of those door mats – great take on the topic!
