  1. We got a below-freezing night and all the blooming cherry trees will lose their flowers. It’s this warm/cold/warm/cold weather. It got warm, the trees bloomed. Now it’s getting cold again. I’m really hoping this is winter’s last chill.

I always wanted a flowering cherry tree, but they don’t grow well in this climate — for exactly this reason. They do VERY well a little further south. We had a very pretty one when I lived in New York.

    • We have quite warm temperatures at the moment and everything is showing Spring flowers. During the night it cools doey but not below freezing. There are Spring flowers everywhere. We haven’t had rain for some time.
