Nothing out of the ordinary for this time of the year. The trees are going naked and dropping their clothes everywhere. In a month it will all be forgotten and we will probably be clearing away the snowfall instead of the leaves. For us in the northern hemisphere, and for those at the equater? There trees will still be green and snow will be something you only see in a picture book.
RDP Wednesday: Customary
This is so pretty. We had two sugar maples in our front yard (that were, sadly, taken down by a hurricane). The one closest to our front walkway had golden leaves just like this. When the leaves fell, I called it my golden carpet. My husband called it a royal pain in the neck to rake.

Funny how men seem to think. We see the beauty in it all and they see the work. I am afraid I do not know the names of all the trees by looking at the leaves, but for that we have Tony 🙂

These look like maple leaves to me, but I agree with you–we have Tony.

I love leaves on the ground instead of all blowdried into oblivion!
