What a wonderful fresh morning. It rained yesterday evening throughout the night with a few claps of thunder. At the beginning it was quite windy which managed to sweep one of my orchids to the ground outside and break the covering pot. However no damage done so much to the plant. Afterwards we decided to take the orchids inside during the night to be on the safe side. And now the clouds are going and the sun has arrived and we have fresh air. The heat wave is no longer and I feel so much better. We have normal summer temperatures thank goodness.

And the gardener has arrived and is already cutting my overgrown hedge.

Here he is the hedge cutting artist at work. I asked him for his permission to show the photo here. We do not always have the same gardener but he is often here to do the work.

Our local cats seem to have decided that my garden is the best for relaxation. This one settled on my chair outside to take it easy. I seem to be slowly the cat mother of the area.

Roschti, the other neighbourhood cat, also paid a visit yesterday, but he was just passing though and did not make a stop.
And I am now ready for the week, although nothing special happening at the moment. Perhaps I might be a little more out and about if the weather stays as perfect as it is now. My wheelchair is ready for action and so is my scooter. It is really wonderful to be able to breathe again and have not such problems with walking and fatigue. Have a good week everyone.

Good moorning

Good morning … great photos … it is also hot here yesterday and today … but then will decline sharply for the next few days. We plan to enjoy it and catch up on work in the garden. Have a great day .. keep cool .. .SLP …

It has cooled down a little today and is more bearable. The gardeners worked on our garden this morning and did a super job . We are now weed free and even the sparrows paid us a visit. It is really looking neat and tidy

It has been raining so much lately, but I walked in my back garden yesterday. I thought I had done such a great clean-up in the spring, but the wisteria have woken up and spread rampant through the yard, so my work is cut out for me. I’ll have to do it in spurts as it is way too hot come late morning/early noon. Your gardens and the kitties look wonderful, Cat Mama. 🐈

We now get a few short showers now and again after the big storms yesterday, but the weather is really perfect at the moment – for me. I once had a wisteria, but never again. It wanted to take everything over and it can be quite destructive wining around everything. It can even bend metal.

Good Morning!
That sparrow from yesterday must have been in a neighboring hedge. Well, it seemed to be well shorn also.
My blog featured a white perennial pea this morning, and will feature a normal pink perennial pea like yours tomorrow.

I think the sparrows are now in action as everyone here is having their hedge cut – lots of food arriving. Must have a look at your sweet pea plants.

Yes, that makes sense. They know how to take advantage of a good situation.

The cats have good taste. Your garden is superior, and of course, so are the local cats ( in their own opinion).

It is only a small garden, but big enough for me. I have to be careful not to disturb the cats when I am in the garden
