  1. Surely not! The tête de moine literally means Monk’s head and I’m sure this guy is just wearing a monk’s robe. Btw, it’s a great tasting cheese but it needs to be served in its typically ‘scrolled’ ultra-fine slices. We’ve invested in a Girolle and we buy half a loaf of it from time to time.

  2. Out here in Washington state there was a group of Benedictine Nuns who ran the Ferry Terminal and the Gift shop at a place called Shaw Island. It was pretty neat to have your ferry dock and see the Sisters in their habits working the ramps and helping the crew bring us in.
    It was a big deal, people used to go out there just to see the Sisters.
