  1. I remember these from last year, but still do not know what the Latin name is. I believe that they are a type of Helianthemum, which I know as sun rose. What I know as moss rose here is Portulaca grandiflora, which likely has a different European name or names.

  2. These are particularly beautiful when they are grown along stone wall and sort of drape over the edges. They come in a bunch of different colors. Blue and white are also popular, though your color is my favorite. Owen wants to grow some if we can get it to grow and withstand the incursions of our binding weeds! And some rain would really help.
