Good Morning

Another brilliant sunrise this morning, it could almost be Summer, although it is still Spring and I do not trust it entirely. Apparently it will get a little cooler for the Easter week-end, but I have no big plans about going places and seeing things. There is enough stress lasting the whole year.

And yes, I had my second and final Covid vaccination yesterday afternoon. The photo is from the exist where you have to wait 15 minutes before leaving. I decided there was a queue waiting and would need 5 minutes to arrive at the front, so saved on my 15 minutes. I felt a big dizzy afterwards, but I that probably did not have anything to do with the actual vaccination. I am just not used to be directed to a chair, then to the doc for the jab and visiting various stations on the way to show my documents. It gets all a little confusing for a golden oldie, especially when you do it all with the help of a walker and have trouble sitting in the right places. You just get a little wobbly on your feet. Luckily my neighbour took me there and brought me home in his car for which I was very thankful. When I arrived home I collapsed onto the bed, but I just had to find my feet again. Otherwise I did not have a headache, had no signs of fatigue and no strange marks on my body. The arm hurt just a little but that disappeared within a few minutes. It is now the next morning and I still feel no ill effects from the whole thing. I must just be one of the lucky ones.

I had the Pfizer BioNTech vaccination which works very well I believe with its 90% protection against everything. I am now so glad that I have had it done and hope for the best. I will still wear my mask when necessary and keep a distance. You can never be too careful, but I am glad to have it all behind me.

And now back to normal life.

Bird life continues in my back garden and the crows are now regular visitors, gathering the goodies. They are really the jugglers of food.

This little blue tit also arrived continuing to scoop out the goodies in the coconut shell.

Otherwise the day continued as normal. I was so glad after my ordeal at the vaccination centre. I had actually decided to relax and do nothing but I discovered I felt so good I could work on a few photos and blog a little.

I had one of my better TV evenings and watched one of those transformer films called Bumble bee. This time it was the good transformer that turned into a yellow Volkswagen, adopted and found by a teenage girl. Of course they managed to save the world from the bad transformers and it was a happy ending as usual. I got so interested I eventually only hit the bed only at midnight, but for me it was worth it. I am a victim for such films.

Today I will stay at home I think and take it easy. Have a good day everyone and keep safe and away from the others. Covid can be everywhere. I discovered this morning that Spring is really catching up on us all and from a distance I saw that our Japanese cherry tree is not thinking about opening its buds.

  2. Your juggling crows are pretty amazing–two peanuts!! My husband is the same as you after his second shot yesterday–only a sore arm. I get my second one tomorrow so hope I feel the same.

    • I am so glad that I now have my vaccination and have no more worries about catching this dreadful illness. My husband is also now vaccinated. They are beginning with the older age groups as we are more endangered and it was done very well.

  4. Pfizer is the brand our family received and I ad no effects, a few did.  Glad you’re done.  At least we all hope these new variants will be stifled with our current vaccines.
