And that is all that is left. Jesus did it with five loaves and two fish to feed five thousand people. I only have a remainder of a pork chop and boiled ham to divide between myself, Mr. Swiss and No. 1 son. But Jesus did not have to feed my No. 1 son who always ensures that nothing is left. If he had been there at the time, this miracle would not have passed the test. The only reason why I am left with the ham and piece of pork chop is because I rescued them, put them one side for something to eat on our last evening of the holiday. The remains for the choisi de frigidaire.
I am quite happy with a piece of cheese and some potato chips, but my men are carnivores, so they can have the meat. Today I cooked the remaining carrots as a veg, and used the remaining fresh parsley as a garnish. And life goes on, but my No. 1 son will keep his eye on the left overs. I found one brussel sprout in the fridge that slipped through, but that will not be a problem. No. 1 son does not eat green vegetables, so I can divide it between Mr. Swiss and myself.
RDP Sunday: Leftover
I feel leftovers make good meals. ๐

What is it about sons and eating the contents of the fridge/pantry?? Yours are quite a bit older than mine, so I have a long road ahead…:)

No. 1 son is quite special in that context i suppose. He is autistic and just has the habit of clearing his plate completely with Second helpings. He wonโt eat broccoli, sprouts or mushrooms, otherwise anything goes. I never have a problem with cooking too much

I wish I knew how Jesus turned water into wine – my stock is looking somewhat depleted right now!
Here’s mine!

Perhaps he didn’t and it was all an optical illusion.

There are some countries where the word “leftover” does not exist.
