Whilst people were buying their groceries in the supermarket as always, opposite the stores were all closed. You could not eat what they sold or need the goods for every day use, they were the special stores: clothing, eye glasses etc. etc. They were closed for the lock down, the first wave of the virus. We now have the second wave, higher than the first, but they remain open. The difference now is that we all wear masks.

We are in our third wave, although there’s some debate on whether the first wave ever really ended. For people like me and Garry, there has not been any safe time to go out and even here, where we had cut the infection rate to almost zero, it’s back — even in little old Uxbridge. It gets so depressing.

It’s very depressing and seems to have no end. We have a big rise in cases and there seems to be no end.
