FOTD 26th August 2020: Nasturtiums

We all know them. The wonderful colourful flowers that grow easily from seed and and as soon as the flower stalks appear they get covered with little black flies. That can be annoying but with some soapy water they soon disappear. And then they begin to flower. I must admit I am a nasturtium lover.

  1. Ah! One of my all time favorites, even if they do not bloom white. They were the first seed I ever grew when I was a little kid. My great grandfather gave me the seed. They are very popular among those of us of Italian descent. Brent knows them as ‘dago pansies’.
