Expert? I just happen to like certain cannas. I got ‘Australia’ for my downtown planter box. I do not like bronzed foliage, but wanted some for that particular application. ‘Australia’ has very dark foliage. A colleague in San Jose grew ‘Tropicana’, and even though it was too flashy for my garden, I thought it was very pretty. It is still one of my favorites of the cannas, but for other peoples’ gardens.
