I have had this orchid for a year and it has spent the summer months outside, sheltered from direct sunlight of course, to stop the leaves from burning.

I think this is more than assumption, but a certainty. For the first time since growing orchids I am really having a success. This plant is full of buds and I cannot wait until they open. I have another three plants and they are also developing interesting stalks where I can assume that buds are slowly but surely developing.
