FOWC with Fandango: Warrior

Bürgerspital Solothurn

Warriors are today dressed in an overall, might have a face mask (but not to hide anything), wear gloves and their only weapon, if they have one, will be disinfectant. They do not explore caves with mysterious statues, they do not use weapons to kill the villain and they do not always survive in an exciting final fight. Their enemies are rarely visible, due to their minute size.

They are called doctors, nurses, specialists and scientists. Today we no longer have films to show it all, it is reality.

  1. I’m beginning to get grumpy. I’m trying to not get grumpy, but I have a headache that never seems to go away. Each now my calendar comes up and says “Nothing planned for today.” Which I already know, but still …

    I think if I didn’t blog, I go bonkers.

    • I know what you mean. Doctors don’t have time for us old folks. I have been troubled with low blood pressure and get quite giddy, especially when turning in bed. This morning I had 6 tries to stand up when leaving the bed. When I begin to move around it does get better, I just worry what will happen next with this MS shit (excuse the expression, but I have slowly had enough)

      • Garry is dizzy too. He’s not sure why, but no one else knows either. It could be his ears. The inner ear is the balancing mechanism and hearing aids sometimes block them from working. He was supposed to get them checked in early March, but unless it’s an emergency, the department is closed. I have so many physical issues I never know if I’m sick or I’m just “me.” I’m trying to be patient and let this play out, but it is taking a LONG time. And it might well take even longer because if too many places “open” early, we’ll have another, potentially worse, spike of disease. Until there’s a vaccine, we’re pretty much stuck. But I’m getting pretty squirrely.
