RDP Sunday: Tolerate

The grandchildren arrive, the grandchildren go
It is so nice to see them, how quickly they can grow
The older decides to hide from grandpa and ma
The baby is curious and observes it all from far
Eventually they are bold and decided to be heard
A cry here, a scream there, you cannot here a word
And then they are quiet, something biological might smell
The diapers are changed and then another yell
Now it is calm, the baby is sleeping
Food is on the table and the toddler is eating
Let’s have a game, the older solves a jigsaw
Whilst the baby looks around, no longer in withdraw
Time goes so fast, to the door they go in a leap
And grandpa and grandma are tired and have to sleep.
