I think the saying is that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, although I failed to see the beauty of this statue that someone had in their front garden in our village. The beholder probably had his own ideas.
In another front garden I saw this statue: a little more realistic, and very nice, although I thought it looked a little out of place, but nice describes it.
And then we have this outside a building along the river. Admittedly it had its charm, but I am not so sure that the word aesthetic would apply.
Oh, forget the whole thing, just a photo of our river supplies the real meaning of the word, and that was created by mother nature, with a little human help to keep it aesthetic.
