One of my favourites was a shot of a swan and her eggs. The local authorities had put the net around her nest for protection.
And the wheat was ripening in the fields
And it was the season for a cooling swim in the local river.

Retired and Enjoying Every Minute of It
I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. In 2018, I decided to create a Wordpress blog site that would allow me to store and retrieve every piece. Stories from my community, city and people are what make my writing so interesting and inspiring! I’m a tea lover so a cup of tea sometimes makes my blog.

It is really a wonderful change of scenery along the river bank in Summer.

I love winter but seeing these scenes lets me long for summer! And I hope the swans realised that the net was there for them!

I think they did. Eventually the eggs hatched and they were often seen swimming on the river. The net was then removed. the problem was that a path was quite near.

the problem was that a path was quite near –> knowing swans and their “peaceful nature” it might have been the other way round: protection of the general public who uses the path 😀

Swans are big and can be quite aggressive, though a piece of food generally calms them down quite quickly.

I know they can be quite dangerous when protecting their families.
