FOWC with Fandango: Indulge

I like to keep myself busy. I saw these two guys in town with their theolodyte, I think that is what it is called and so I took a photo. It seems that the guy on the left saw me. As I walked past, I had to, because it was the road to the dentist where I was picking up Mr. Swiss, he asked me why I took the photo.

I told him it looked quite interesting and I like to collect interesting photos, and he might even be featured on a blog site and seen in the states afterwards. Before he had a chance to answer, I asked him what he was actually measuring. And now the ice had melted and he gladly told me about a tall building near bye where he was measuring the distances. We afterwards parted company and wished each other a good day.

You just have to indulge in a little conversation with the people.

  1. Here, the men doing the job are called surveyors, and the tool (one of many, these days) is a theodolite. So aside from a difference in spelling (Ys and Is are so variable in English), you got it right. Now, though you can use a lot of laser tools and if you have the right app, a cell phone.
