FOWC with Fandango: Irrefutable

It is that time of the year again when you settle down in your bed at night and begin to drift off to sleep and then suddenly, to your surprise, you hear a light buzzing sound. Suddenly it stops and you know you are again the chosen victim. The mosquitos are back and not only back, but they need blood, your blood, to help hatch out their babies.

And suddenly you feel an irritation, an itch, yes, the mosquito strikes again.

The next morning you awake and notice a red bump on your arm. The bumps never come alone. Once the mosquito has drawn blood, it becomes addicted and flies a little further to try the next open pore of the body. During the day they begin to itch.

I have declared electronic war on them. Today I stocked up in the store and bought a new machine as well as an extra container with the liquid: plug it in, switch it on and you remain mozzie free all through the night.

RDP Wednesday: Caprice

I know it is not poetic
Could also be quite kitsch
But it was all that I thought of
Although the taste is rich
Not really my favourite cheese
Am more a fan of chedder
Now that is difficult to rhyme
Makes my face get redder
An amour de fromage
falling in love with cheese
I did not buy the caprice
It always makes me sneeze
