FOWC with Fandango: Bubble

This guy seems to be an expert at bubbles. We have everything in our local town, but this was the time of the annual trade fair and it would the first thing I saw when I entered the town, so I took a few photos.

And then there was a lady that also decided to produce a few bubbles in our town.

I just had a memory of the West Ham United soccer team that I supported when I was still a Brit living in London. They had a theme tune “I’m forever blowing bubbles” and it was sung at most of the matches. This particular Youtube version was recorded at Wembley for a cup final match.

  1. British people certainly love to sing at sporting events. I didn’t know that West Ham supporters sang this song but I did know about Liverpool and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”

At the cricket, the crowd sings lead by the globe-trotting “Barmy Army”. They have been entertaining themselves and everyone else at all of England’s matches in the Cricket World Cup. Whenever I watch The Ashes they usually start the day with “Jerusalem” but have a variety of silly songs they like to sing about their own players and sometimes ours throughout the day. Their official trumpet player even plays “The Last Post” when they lose.
