FOWC with Fandango: Slide

Playground 1205 (1)

I happened to be in town this afternoon wanting to have a look at our bike days. However, the bike days were only for the paying public and so I decided that as I cannot ride a bike, just slide around on one and probably create an accident, I stopped at the local town playground.

When I was a kid a slide was just something you climbed up on a ladder and afterwards you slid down from a height. That was in the good old days. Today the slide has been developed into an artistic creation. My mum just let me do it on my own, but today there are more risks attached with sliding down the modern version. It seemed that the kids arrive in groups accompanied by mums and dads, brothers and sisters. Even the slide is no longer straight forward, but seems to have bumps. I hope that the parents have a good insurance for their kids that includes dangers of sliding.
