Weigela florida. I believe it is a traditional cultivar of Weigela florida. Modern cultivars have richer color, both floral and foliar. Many exhibit variegated or bronzed foliage. Moderns cultivars are also wimpier. The traditional cultivars are still best.

Thanks for the help. I once had a Weigela in my garden some years ago, and that one had red flowers.

Red and rich pink are more popular than paler pink. White is now quite rare.
