I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. I LOVE dandelions, and am especially thrilled to see them growing next to purple violets. For whatever reason it makes me very happy to see them!

Dandelions are OK, but can become quite invading, we have fields of them where I live

They are considered excellent for pollinators and bees, and even the seeds are birdfood. They make good mulch and keep the land from drying out, so I am very pro-dandelion! I’d rather have a yard of dandelions than lawn, since it seems self-maintaining.

They are like the Universal Weed! When we were kids, a desert tortoise moved into the garden and ate them. When he or she at them all, he or she moved into the back garden.

I wish we had a desert tortoise to eat ours

We the dandelions ran out, we had to feed it vegetables and ground beef. We did not mind him or her living there, but it was a bit odd to have him or her waiting at the back door to be fed in the morning.
