One of the paths I take when wheeling into town along the river. It is more comfortable than the stony river path.

A bridge in our local town of Solothurn, Switzerland. A way for the cars at the top, a way for the pedestrians underneath, and a way for the boats of the River Aare below.

And you can always climb the stairs if you do not want to use the lift.

    • It a new apartment house. They are the luxury class. You can only see the lower level, but there are four levels. I took the shot on a trip through the village. The stairs go further to the other apartments

  4. I love your bridge. Interesting that they put the pedestrians underneath the cars. In New York, where we have a few double bridge for trains or cars and pedestrians, the people are on top and the other transport underneath.

    • The part on top for the cars also has a sidewalk for pedestrians as well as below which is only for pedestrians. Our local train also runs on the top part. We have a few bridges over the Aare in our town of Solothurn
