Looks like the remains of a building
Piles can be comfortable places, especially if a cat finds one

Retired and Enjoying Every Minute of It
I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. In 2018, I decided to create a Wordpress blog site that would allow me to store and retrieve every piece. Stories from my community, city and people are what make my writing so interesting and inspiring! I’m a tea lover so a cup of tea sometimes makes my blog.

We got three new cats recently, and that orange and white looks quite like one of ours. I love cats–they make themsekves at home anywhere.

Roschti belongs to the neighbour. He took him over when the previous owner moved away. My cat does not like him, but cats never seem to like other cats

Our new three have a few difficulties at times. the two boys were raised together, so we adopted them together and they do well. The girl, though, hisses at everyone, even me. She had been in the animal shelter about six months and her fellow cat had been adopted by someone, so she has a lot of stress and grief and whatever else. Her cage was right next to one of the boys, and she gives him a hard time when we let them go in the same room. Poor everyone. She mostly stays in one bedrrom alone or with me and does well there. I love roschti, by the way–there used to be a swiss restaurant in Vermont that made it, and I ate a lot of it.

Cats are not such sociable animals

My old ones were–they adored me and each other. Alas, they are gone. These new ones are ordinary not-so-sociable cats, but nice enough.

Cats always find somewere comfortable for a sleep. This was a pile of material the workers had been using when they were doing roof work.
