To celebrate my trip to the sunflower fields just at the edge of town, here is one of my 50 photos. It was a perfect day and you could only see sunflowers as far as the eye could go. One day the seeds will be processed as oil, but for the time being we enjoy the view.
A lovely beginning to July!

I am so,glad to be able to go places and take photos as I have to rely on my wheelchair, but we have many planted fields of sunflowers in my area for the sunflower seed oil production.

I think most commercial fields are grown for birdseed here. I like those because I can choose from thousands, different heights and sizes and the owners are OK with people taking pictures.
