Illustrated Music Book, Castle Waldegg, Feldbrunnen

This book was in an exhibition at our local castle, from the good old days where everyone spoke latin.

Looking for a book to read? Then visit our local town of Solothurn in Switzerland. They have a selection for anyone to borrow on the banks of the river in a bookcase. You can also leave your own books there that are no longer needed for the others to read.

Ask the cat at our place before you want to read the newspaper. She might be reading it herself.

  1. We have smaller selections called little free libraries available right outside people’s homes, I think it’s a great concept 😀

  2. We have boxes in the supermarket with all kinds of free stuff. Toys, books, clothing … even food. You put stuff in, you take stuff out. We once gave them a crate of Stephen King’s hard cover books. I don’t think they made it to the “free” bin … I think the guy who took them from Garry took them directly to his car. On the up side, he was a grocery clerk, so I’m sure he felt like he’d hit a bonanza.
