Share Your World – April 9, 2018

Been anywhere recently for the first time?

Swan 06.04 (9)

No, because when you are a golden oldie and no longer as fit as you should be, you no longer go places for new experiences, but stay where you are. However, I managed to capture the black swans at our local stables with their offspring. I really do not need to go somewhere new.

List three favorite book characters.

This is not possible, I read so much. I suppose Sherlock Holmes is on the list and Dracula, even Harry Bosch, but favourites? Difficult to say.

What is your favorite non alcololic drink: hot or cold?

I am tee total, so all my drinks are non alcoholic. Although it might not be the most healthy, but give me a Pepsi Cola cold anytime (note I prefer Pepsi to Coca Cola).

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

My walking steps with the cane are improving and I even managed a few steps without any support. It will take time, but my broken leg is behaving well.

  1. Familiar places can be just as fun as new ones. Love your swans. Glad your leg is recovering so well. Pepsi? Never! Nor any other fizzy drinks. I do drink Coke if I have an upset tummy. I don’t know what its magic properties are but it really works! Now coffee – give me my caffeine in that form any time!

      • It might have similar magic properties to Coke which agree with your digestive problems. I know a man whose doctor told him to drink Coke as it was the only drink that agreed with him after having half his stomach removed due to cancer.
