Share Your World – March 12, 2018

Rainbow 07.03.2018

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?

Find out which uncle it was. In our family you could never rely on stuff like that.

What sound or sounds do you love?

I live in the country and the sounds surrounding me are just fine. Just the natural stuff.

What’s your middle name?  Why?

Ann and I have no idea why. There is an interesting story. Like most people I did a search for my name in Internet and found a lady that had exactly my name. She wrote books and was in America. At the time I was doing family research and belonged to a group with my maiden name and discovered that this lady was also in the group. I stopped the fam”>ily research eventually and almost forgot the whole thing until I saw that this lady was also in Facebook. I wrote to her, she was thrilled and we discovered that not only did we share our first name and maiden name, but we both had an Ann in the middle. She has now become my American cousin and I am hers. We are not related, it is all pure coincidence, but we have become good friends.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

I can do it. After breaking my leg six weeks ago I took my first steps using my cane today on my own. I hope it will soon be goodbye walking machine.

  1. My first thought was how could you be the favourite of a distant uncle; unless he was geographically distant not a distant relation. However ,for the sake of the challenge I answered the question anyway. I’m thrilled to hear you are starting to walk again.

  2. So happy you have progressed to the cane! Onward and upward from here. You will be your old self again. Love your answer to the distant uncle question! Of course it would be a scam!!
