  1. Is this the sedum that blooms on big flat-topped trusses about a foot tall? That is such a pretty one, and nothing like the ground cover types. I have only been growing it for a few years, and only because I got it from a client. The dried flowers are nice long after bloom.

    • Yes thats the one. It grows with many stalks from a center point. I leave the flowers in the garden until next year. They dry and turn dep red. I inherited mine from a neighbour that moved away. I also have ground covering types, but they just make a pretty background. they are no bother and they are the sort of plants I prefer.
