Oh I love gladiolus flowers. I don’t see them often enough!

Boring!? Wow, they were one of my favorites when I was in high school. Back then, I grew only two varieties, and one was of course a very tall white. The other was a simple red. When I lived in town, I grew yellow and orange, not because they were my favorite colors, but because they looked good with the house and nasturtiums, and my neighbor liked them.

They do nothing for me and I do not like them I even had a couple in my garden, but I never replaced them.

Brent, my colleague down south dislikes them because they remind him of funerals.

They are hard to photograph and get a good picture. They topple easy in a garden. You can help prevent that by laying the bulbs horizontal. I like them but seldom see them.

These were wrapped in plastic. I planted a couple in the garden once, but I am not a gladiolus fan
