  1. These are lovely! Mine are similar colors, but don’t have the “pinked” petals. Mine thrive on neglect — they get a little water, but that’s all — and the color is supposed to be dependent upon the acidity of the soil — mine are right next to each other!

    • If you want blue flowers you have to add something to the soil. My dad had no idea of gardening, but he had a hydrangea climber. He chopped it down now and again, but it always returned with vengeance.
