This is the sort of photo I got, when I put the word “night” into my collection. I came up with 40 suggestions. This photo was a surprise. I took it on a trip to London a few years ago when I visited the town of Rochester with my friend. It is situated on the river Medway about 30 miles from London. The photo shows the tower of Rochester cathedral.
The town was very much favoured by the british writer Charles Dickens, who lived near, and included the area, the county of Kent, in many of his books.
My visit was in the evening, so most of the photos I took were night photos, although to a certain extent the cathedral was illuminated.
