I have just returned from the cellar where I took a photo of a drum belonging to Mr. Swiss, actually part of his drum set that he uses for practicing.

  2. I was trying to find inspiration too. I finally thought of dawn and then immediately, darkness. Phew. No drums in this house and I’ve done a lot of dogs already. I needed something else. Love the drums. I wanted to play drums, but my mother wouldn’t let me. She said that “drums were not appropriate for a girl.” I think it is the ONLY time I wasn’t allowed to do something because it wasn’t girly. I still wish I had learned. Drums always look like so much fun.

    • Of course after 48 years together will a drummer I picked up a few things, but never could play with the sticks. I can handle the rhythm ok with the brushes. It was a tricky one this time. I got my fist two photos ok, but changed three times until I discovered the drums. I even went down to the hobby room to take the photo as I only had pictures of Mr. Swiss playing on the drums.
