I planted a few seeds some years ago next to my hedge to brighten it up a bit. Since then they have grown and spread and even taken over some neighbouring meadows, They seem to remain in the basic colour of deep pink, but now and again I get a white bunch of flowers. I just love plants that are not bother and do it all by themself, even if they do get out of hand now and again.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain!

Pretty little flowers. When I read their name I thought about Sweet Pea from Popeye the Sailor Man. Guess I watched too many Saturday morning cartoons as a kid! LOL!!

I agree that flowers – or a garden – are more fun when you don’t have to tend them much. My garden is mostly perennials so only the new plantings have to get special care. The rest just grows!

As I grew older and less active I realized th the benefits of perennials, the best plants a garden and human can have. And make sure you only have plants that snails don’t like, then it is perfect.
