CEE is taking a week off and I have only just noticed that Emilio is standing in for the Share My World this week, so thanks Emilio

Have you ever been pulled over by a cop?

Police radar 14.12 (2)

No, not yet, although our police have devious ways. They place strange objects in places less expected. This camera was just outside the exit to our garage so we fooled them. We were not driving fast enough for a black and white photo. You don’t get pulled over usually, they send a letter in the post with your personal photo and a payment slip to pay the fine.

What have you always wanted?  Did you get it?

Wants change with age I find. At the age of 70 I now want a fully functioning body with no aches and pains. Above all I want a cure for MS.

What is your perfect pizza?

Garlic, aubergine, artichokes, the usual mozarella and tomato and I am happy – and a nice thin crust. Otherwise I quite like the one I make myself – quattro stagioni.

What inspired you this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Road to Solothurn 16.08 (12)

I at last manage an appointment at the hairdresser. It was long overdue and was getting to the stage when I was resembling Rasputin, the mad monk, or a refugee from a beat beat band of the sixties. Now I can breathe again.

  1. I don’t even think about a better body. Right now, just not feeling sick would work for me. Not only don’t I understand how come I’m sick, but I’m baffled as to how come I’m not better yet. I’ve never been patient with my body. I suppose I need to work on that.

    • Inhave been lucky over the years, perhaps not realizing whatvwas actually wrong and that the progress of my illness was slow. Now itvseems to bo making up,for lost time. I have better days and notbsongood days, but try to continue as always. Life can be so unfair.

  2. Sorry to hear about your health and body issues. The worst I can complain about is a constant lower back pain and a left arm that is restricted by muscle soreness. Therapy has not helped either but I go for a yearly physical in September and will question them again. Other than that, your pizza sounds interesting. So quattro stagioni. Each section has a separate ingredient, right? They’re not all together as in the photo?

    • We never know what illnesses to expect as we grow older, but improvements have happened over the years and it could be worse. The Quattro stagioni refers to four seasons although I am not sure why there are four principal ingredients, two of which are artichoke and mushroom with the normal mozzarella cheese and tomato.
