The mirrors are actually positioned on the roads to help the motorists, but if you are taking a walk and see one, I found they give you a different view of the road.
A walk along the bank of the River Aare in Switzerland, one of my favourite walks.
And sometimes the streets are useful to make a drawing, or just do a school work. Were they counting cars, or being artistic – who knows?
Seems they are doing what young people do so well, confusing golden oldies. 🙂 Hugs

This was two days ago, and today they were doing it again. Sometimes they sit on the roadside and draw, but other times they count cars – we never know. Keeps them out of mischief I suppose.

Thanks, I was also quite happy with the mirror, so I took a few different ones – you never know.

People around here put those mirrors at the bottom of their driveways so they can see if traffic is coming. It’s hard to see the road with all the trees!

We have to get permission to have them private, but there are quite a few along the main road.
