Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: May 28, 2017

Renovation 23.05 (14)

Where there is a builder at work, there is always an odd ball. This guy was sealing the insulation of the wall in front of my window, so I had to take an action photo.

I had to work this one out myself. I took the photo whilst waiting at the dentists. Mr. Swiss explained that it is actually a clock. The illuminated words tell the time. However, it is all in Swiss German dialect. What it says is “Füf ab haubi viere” which translated means 25 minitues to five and it is correct – simple really 🙂

And I found this  in one of the thick walls of a tower at the corner of the town walls of the old town of Solothurn, Switzerland. It is the Muttiturm (tower) where there is a theater inside. It really looks like you are viewing the inside of the tower onto the stage of the theater, but it is only a photo embedded in the wall.

    • I found it would be a good subject for a photo (as usual). A mini movie would be a good idea. Perhaps I should organise something like that for Tabby at home. I will have a word with the builders when they arrive tomorrow. 🙂

    • I don’t even know why I took the photo. I did not even realise it was a clock. It was just co-incidence that he saw the photo and explained what it was.

    • I speak Swiss German all day, Solothurn dialect. Yes well if MSG was so dangerous, the Swiss people would long have died out – they cannot live without it. I also quite like despite the MSG touch.
