Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – February 24, 2017

Feldbrunnen village 23.02 (48)

This walk is next to our local castle and is one of my favourite walks. Unfortuntely it is now too far for me to go, but this week I managed to reach the beginning of the path for a photo. Afterwards the path leads into the forest.

A shot of the local road train from a hill where I was resting on a bench.

My place is a little along the path on the right, but you cannot see it from this photo. This is the route I take if walking somewhere. The stairs lead to the main road and the castle, and in the other direction you arrive at the River Aar.

  1. I love the photos you post. Your area has such diversity it is grand. I wish our country had a train / mass transit system such as countries as yours do. We have a real old rickety train system that goes only to a few spots. All attempts to start a high speed train system fails due to politicians conflicts of interest. Such as when we voted to start an instead high speed train system here in Florida. Rather than implement it, the governor at the time whose family was in oil, worked for two years to get a re-vote and get it rescinded. It came out later that the actions they took and the stuff they published were illegal and false respectively. Hugs

    • Our national train station is in the next town. We have our local train connecting the various small villages. Those further afield have the local bus system, although Swiss travel is not cheap. I buy a special extra ticket to get all traveling expenses half price. And now I am driving again after almost 2 years.
