We had to wait at the barrier this morning for the train to pass, but I had time for some photos 🙂
It was quite a misty morning for photos, but the ways looked quite mysterious. This was the top road to where we live, near the castle.
Another one of those ways where I am not quite sure where it leads to, but probably a short cut to somewhere.
I love the train cross AND the fog!

We have to cross the railway to get out of the village, and it happened we there there at the time when it crossed. I think I shot about 6 photos of the train in motion as it passed in front of us. Fog is in abundance in the morning. I cold clean it up on the photos, but prefer to keep it.

We have no traffic signs like the black triangular one. Is there a green light on top… do the lights flash? Inquiring minds….

These signs are only for the railways that run parallel to the road. When a train is approaching, usually when it reaches the next station, the barrier closes and the lights begin to blink on and off, with a bell sound, until the train has safely passed through. Then it is all switched off.

Misty looks beautiful in your second photograph. Your town is scenic.

I live in a village near a town, but it is all farming land and a market town. At the moment we are living in permanent mist.
