Daily Prompt: Me Moody?

Feldbrunnen to Langendorf 14.12 (2)

“Me Moody?”

“You are sometimes. Do something.”

“Don’t know what to do, I don’t feel like action.”

“You could write a blog, you are always writing blogs.”

“And when the blog subject is “moody” how I am supposed to write about being moody, when I am never moody, at least almost never moody.  At the moment I cannot be bothered. Starting up the computer and having a blank screen to fill it with words, when I am not in the mood for writing anything.”

“You always find something.”

“That is because I am not usually in a bad mood, because the subject sould be moody. How can you write about moody, when you do not have moods.”

“Everyone has moods, it is normal.”

“Are you implyng that I have moods.”

“Not more than anyone else. If you don’t have a mood, then write something and tell everyone you are perfect, because you do not know what being moody is..”

“I don’t feel like it, really not, Think I will have a piece of apple pie.”

“You see, you are now in the mood for apple pie.”

“Of course I am, otherwise I wouldn’t want it, although I would prefer a doughnut.”

“We havn’t got any doughnuts.”

“Why not? If I have a mood for something, there are only disappointments. No doughnuts – bad mood.”

“You seem to be enjoying the apple pie.”

“When there is nothing else to eat. If you had remembred to buy doughnuts I would not be in such a bad mood.”

“I thought you was never moody.”

“I would be in a better mood if we had doughnuts. I have now eaten the apple pie, what shall I do now?”

“Write a blog.”

“I am not in the mood for writing a blog about being moody, it is really a condition I do not know, because I am always well balanced.”

“Then go for a walk.”

“Sounds like you want me out of the way. Have you seen the weather outside. Grey and foggy, and depressing. Ideal for putting you in a bad mood.”

“I do not want you out of the way, but you aare not exactly the life and soul of the party at the moment. I only thought it would cheer you up if you get some fresh air.”

“Are you coming as well?”

“No, I will stay at home. I am not in the mood for a walk.”

“So I am supposed to go for a walk in that grey and miserable weather to put me in a good mood. but you do not feel like it. Going for walks on my own is not fun. It would be much better if you came as well.”

“I don’t feel like going for a walk. I just want to stay at home and read a book.”

“Is it a good book?”

“I am not sure, because every time I want to read you start complaining.”

“So it’s my fault that you are in a bad mood because you cannot concentrate on your book.”

“No it is not your fault at all, write a blog or something to keep you busy.”

“You don’t have to shout at me, I can hear quite well. Are you annoyed? In a bad mood?”

“No I am not in a bad mood, I was in a normal good mood until you began to complain because you were in a bad mood.”

“Typical, always my fault.”

“Where are you going now.”

“I am fed up with your bad mood. I am now going to write a blog about today’s subject.”

“Which is?”

“Moody, although I really do not know where to start, being such a well-adjusted person.”

  1. I’m sick so I just want to sit here until it goes away. I’d actually rather lie down, but the dogs become very nervous when their world changes in any small way, like me lying on the sofa when usually I’m not lying on the sofa. It seems like not matter whom or what we live with, we have contend with THEIR moods.

    • Hope you get better soon. It is true that our animals notice when things are not as they usually are. Tabby is used to my laying on the bed. After lunch she often joins me and lays next to me, but she will never come to me when I am sitting on a chair. I think cats are not so dependent as dogs. They like to do their own thing.

      • That’s true. Dogs watch everything their people do. That’s their job. I used to think of it as dependent, but now I think it’s their species. They pay attention to each other, too. They’re always sending signals to each other about things. All my cats were very loving, but they were not a “pack” of cats. Each one was a universe unto itself. Dogs are truly concerned at all times about what’s going on in the pack.
