Happy Christmas say the town police with their Christmas Tree at the police station.
We now have a post office in the parking lots of the local supermarket. Just weigh your parcel, buy the stamps from the machine and put it in the postbox, all in the middle.
What shrouded objects are waiting at the exit road to the parking lots. Why are they hiding beneath their grey plastic coats. Will they ambush you as you are leaving? No, they were intended for payment as you were leaving, but then there was a change of plan and a ticket machine was built. They are now redundant, but who knows if they will one day arise and fight for they rights.

I wanted to take a photo of that post office for some time. I took it today, with odd ball in mind, and nearly got killed whilst doing it. I was trying to stay steady, had my mobile phone with the camers in one hand and suddenly noticed Mr. Swiss waving strangely. I looked over and must had moved at the right time in the right direction as a car spun around the corner and I would have been direct in the line of attack. It was actually entirely my fault, I was more concentrated in taking a photo than keeping an eye on the path.

Trees on the roof are, as I understand it, very traditional in the Scandinavian countries. Even in this country, when a building is finished (any time of year) the workers put a little fir tree at the top. It seems to be a lingering tradition from a very long time past.
I can’t even count the number of times I’ve been in the middle of the road with my camera, absolutely oblivious to traffic. I’m glad you weren’t hit!!

Trees on the roof are also a tradition here if a new house is built. When the rafters are erected, there is a celebration for the workmen and they erect a fir tree on the roof. I do not know where the tradition originates, but there is a great history in German.
I would say one of the greatest disadvantges of being unsteady with walking is not being able to take photographs so well.I am gradually developing my own system. Perhaps I should write a book about it for others.
