Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – December 7, 2016

Feldbrunnen to Langendorf 05.12 (14)

We pass this building three times a week when on the way to the supermarket and I found this is perfect which way photo. Unfortunately you cannot stop in the middle of a main road to take a photo, might cause an accident. I tried three shots this week, and although I have part of the car window in the photo, I found this the clearest to show that one way can be precarious, especially if it is a fire escape. By the way the building used to be the Roamer Watch makers, a well known Swiss Brand, that no longer exists. The building is now rented to various companies. I live in watchmaking country, at least it was until the battery driven watches appeared, but the Swatch is still an invention from our area.

It has been a misty week this week. I could improve my photos with a programme, lighten them up and remove most of the misty effect, but I did not, for the pure reason that I like my photos to be a little mysterious sometimes. That is life, we do not always have a perfect sight of things especially through the fog. This is a local railway which goes from Solothurn, our nearest town in Switzerland, and passes many tunnels until arriving at the other side of the Jura mountains. There is talk of removing this railway, because the costs of repairs to the tunnels would be too high, but too many people would be isolated and would have to add a couple of hours on their travel time to work, so it is still being discussed. I hope it does not happen.

Taken this morning on the way to the store. Which way, if you can see where you are going.
