This petrol pump stood at the entrance to our local supermarket for years. It was really a relic from the old days. One day it disappeared and I was really glad that I manage to keep its memory in a photo. They certainly do not make them like that any more.

This little toy was laying in the waiting room when I was waiting to have an x-ray done at the beginning of the year. I never knew why I took this photo, but now I do πŸ™‚

    • I seem to live on instincts since becoming a golden oldie. I am always snapping photos of something or the other if I find it “might come in handy”.


  1. You’re really getting into your macro lens. I remember when I got my first one and I took pictures of anything where I had enough light πŸ™‚ I love the old gas pump. Old rusty stuff makes great photographs.

    • Macro seems to made the photographic world a little more exciting. Problem is changing the lens if you want to take a photo of something normal. Guess what: my next project will be a teleobjective I think.
