    • But Switzerland is a tiny country. Am not even sure if tinier as Oregan perhaps, definitely smaller than Texas, and we only have a population of 8 million. I don’t ride horses either, I cannot even get into the saddle, they are too high for me.

  3. These are nice shots. Those mountains are the view from your house? That’s awesome! I haven’t seen a mountain in person in so long it is unreal. It has been at least 11 years, which is how long we’ve lived here in Texas. We were near the mountains in South Carolina.

    Our oldest daughter was thrown from a horse a couple of weeks ago. The poor horse that threw her was very apologetic afterwards. He was nuzzling on her as it to say, “I’m sorry”. We don’t know what spooked him.

    • The mountains are always a background drop to where we live, but this particular view is from across the main road to the right. We live at the foot of the Jura mountain chain. The stables are also very near, and a nice place to take a walk. I know, by sight, almost every horse they have, somewhere they have all been photographed by me.
