This is a hat, now who would wear a hat like that? Perhaps if your are Swedish you might think differently, does everyone in Sweden wear a hat with an elk on the front?
Mr. Swiss, my other half, worked for a Swedish company that made cars and trucks for many years, beginning with a “V” and ending with an “o”. He was logistic manager for Switzerland in the truck section and often had to visit Göteborg in Sweden for meetings and conferences. Of course it was combined with outings, trips on boats and other amusements, but that was only after the work was done.
He brought home souvenirs, this hat being one of them. He does not remember exactly how and when it happened, but everyone got this hat. Perhaps they had to wear it to prove how genuine Swedish they were when not at home. Mr. Swiss is now retired (so am I for that matter) but when I saw this topic I remembered the hat. He was not happy about searching for the hat for me as it interrupted his daily routine, but for me he does everything, even if mixed with a few profanities (of the weak kind) and he found it beneath the baseball hats and his english caps. It is a genuine Swedish baseball hat with elk attached. By the way if you might feel embarrassed wearing a hat with an elk on the front which tends to get heavy when wearing, you can remove the elk. It is attached with one of those velcro strips.
This hat is adorable 😀

Yes it is, I just wonder why no-one really wants to wear it. 🙂

Who doesn’t love a baseball hat with an elk on it? Or is it a moose? What’s the difference? Have you ever worn a proper hat, like to a wedding?

I avoid hats where I can and no, I did not wear a hat at my son’s wedding. Thhe only time I might wear a sort of woolly hat in the Lucio Dalla style is if it is a really cold winter and my ears start to freeze.

I’d wear that hat. I’d even wear it outside where people can see me!

Warning: not very comfortable as it tends to move around.
