Your mission is to write five haikus
Begin with a plunge
Cleaning windows on Monday
Makes for clarity
Excitement arrives
Seeing clearly with new eyes
Pick up spectacles
Supermarket calls
A battle for the taste buds
Dearly purchased food
Let it blog today
Haikus are numbing my thoughts
in syllable counts
Unknown tomorrow
stimulates thoughts, finally
My haikus are done
well done, awesome work! 🙂

Thankyou so much. To be quite honest Haiku is really not my thing, so there is still hope for me. I was sitting here counting the syllables on my fingers, hoping that it all fits.

well done. And they are linked, too, which is nice.
I always count the syllables. Haikus are fun–like villanelles–because they bind your hands, and make your other limbs work harder!!
I aspire to a truly Dylanesque villanelle before I die. 😉
(might as well shoot for the stars!)
